The Returnee Noble Lady Attacks His Majesty the Dragon Emperor Translation

273.1: The Battle Maiden Wants to Study Abroad (36)

Hades Theo Rave was strong. Jill had never doubted that. She learned it well enough in her past future. How many times had she been toyed with on the battlefield?

Never had she thought she’d be forced to realize it again in this lifetime.

Unable to fully withstand the strike that came crashing down from above, she was set hurling straight to the ground where she dispersed the impact upon landing. She immediately raised her head, but by then, a slash from the side was already coming. She barely managed to block it with her longsword, but she was still blown away to the side.

Damn, and he’s not even using the Heavenly Sword! The fact that he’s holding back makes this even more infuriating!

Ji… Ji-Jill-sensei!”

“Ma-magic division, take aim! Even just distracting him will be enough!”

“No, don’t interfere!”

Jill shouted back as she noticed Hades glance at the students. His face twitched.

“You’re adored quite a bit, Jill-sensei.”

She blocked the strike that followed his loaded words. As expected, he was still holding back.

“What… are you trying to do, Your majesty…! Explain yourself!”

Hades lightly deflected Jill’s counterstrike and exaggeratedly widened his eyes.

“Explain? Why? I don’t know anyone like you.”

“Huh!? Not knowing the face of your own wife, what kind of husband are you!?”

“Wife? How in the world am I supposed to marry my sister?”

His cold words struck her. She thought them over and then realized what he meant. She had treated Hades as though he were her brother.

“—No way, is that really the reason why!? Are you stupid!?”

“Oh, I see, you’re going to argue about it. In that case, I guess we’re actually still strangers?”

Just as Jill thought, Darn! another strike came from above. She held up her longsword with both hands and raised her magical power to its maximum. The ground sank underneath her feet in the shape of a circle, and magic power surged around her.

Hades spoke as he swung his sword with one hand, his tone completely at ease.

“You’re strong, as expected of Jill-sensei.”

His way of speaking irritated her with every word. She had thought he was patiently waiting at home, but it seemed that he had been sulking the entire time. That was the reason why he never went to deliver her bento. Then, without her knowing, he started associating with shady people. I see, I don’t want to understand this.

“Getting… jealous, to this extent, isn’t cute in the slightest…!”

Hades could be heard snorting. Jill firmly planted down her feet and yelled back.

“Do you want to be stepped on again, you stupid husband!? I’ll never divorce you, no matter what!”
