Jill blinked at Lutiya’s remark.

“I see.  Once His Majesty and I get married, Lutiya would become my younger brother-in-law.”
“Stop, it’s too late for that.  I want Jill-sensei to stay as my sensei.”
“Re-Really?  That… kind of makes me blush. But I don’t think I was exactly a great teacher.  I couldn’t do any classroom teaching, and I’m younger than you…”
“What are you saying?  You changed my life.”

Lutiya’s eyes were so serious as they stared straight at her, she unintentionally found herself captivated.

“So don’t go calling yourself my sister-in-law. Stay my teacher forever. Otherwise, I’ll turn into a delinquent.”

The slightly sulky way he said it reminded Jill a bit of Hades. She burst out laughing. She seemed to be weak to this method of seeking affection.

“Alright, in that case I’ll stay your teacher just as I am.  Oh, and Your Majesty, could you please put me dow—”

Thinking this isn’t a good example for the students, Jill tried to separate from Hades, but he wasn’t budging. In fact, his smile had become completely stiff.

“—This damned brat.”
“Don’t glare at me, Hades-aniue.  You’re not a child.”
“Jill! This guy is just pretending to be admirable.  He, is absolutely nasty!”
“Eh?  He’s still better than His Majesty.”

Hades froze.  Jill, not knowing what he was getting aggravated about, held his head and gently patted it.

“His Majesty is the most troublesome, the most annoying, and the most time-consuming.  It’s something I’m well aware of.  However, that is also what makes you so cute.”

Then, in a flash, Hades pulled away from Jill.  She took that opportunity to lightly descend onto the ground.  Hades meanwhile covered the lower half of his now completely red face with both hands and backed away.

“I-I’m still mad that you left me alone… just so you know…!”
“How long are you going to sulk? Didn’t I already apologize?”
“I’ll sulk until the end of time!  And just so you know, tonight’s dinner is chicken steak!”

With those incomprehensible parting words, Hades turned on his heels and left.  Jill folded arms.

“His Majesty really is spoiled.”
“…Say, Noin.  Did I… just win? Or did I lose

“…I think you probably lost, but… that felt like a match you weren’t supposed to win anyway…”
“Oh, Jill-sensei, what a great time! Share your boxed lunch with me.”

Lutiya and Noin jumped as Roger’s face suddenly popped out from behind them.  While thinking that he was still as skilled as ever at masking his presence, Jill held her boxed lunch to herself.

“I don’t want to. Can’t you just line up for the food distribution?”
“Today’s food distribution is being run by the Dragon Knights.  I’m… being chased by Elynsia.  You know that.”
“Then wouldn’t it be fine if you just agreed to show your face at the Imperial Castle?”
“Like I said, that doesn’t make sense.  I… served ties.  I’m not a member of the Rave royal family!”

He had magical power and was quite skilled.  Jill had thought Roger a hard-to-grasp sort of man, but Roger was a false name.  In truth, he was a former member of the Rave royal family.

His real name was Ludger Theos Rave.  Seven years ago, before the deaths of the Crown Princes were said to be a curse, he learned that his own mother had tried to kill his other siblings amidst the struggle for the throne and voluntarily renounced his royal status.  In short, he was a prince, the elder brother of Hades and the others.

“I was a carefree stupid older brother, never even realizing the Rave royal family would end up as it did.  Then even Arnolt died…  There is no way I could show my face to Listeard.  What’s more, I couldn’t even stop Maynard…”

Listeard probably wouldn’t care, but saying that would be pointless.

“In that case, sensei, would you… like to be the principal of my school?”
“Ha?  Ah… you mean the school in Radea?  Eh, do you mean that?”
Yes.  sensei, you’re strong, and you have a wide range of connections.  You are also good at teaching.  Not even Her Highness Elynsia would be able to immediately force you to return to the Imperial Castle if you were there.”

The reason Elynsia was chasing after him was because she feared her long-lost brother would vanish again after finally being found.

Roger folded his arms with a “Fumu,” deep in thought.

“That might be possible… but, no.  I just can’t ignore Maynard.”
“The Rave Empire is also tracking his whereabouts.  It would be more efficient to wait for information.  Furthermore, my school plans to continue research on dragons.  Contact might even be made from his side.”
“Ah… alright, got it.  Radea is far away from the Imperial Capital.”
“Ludger-aniue!  Is that where you were!?  It’s time you come back— hey!”

This time a voice called down from above.  It was Elynsia riding her beloved dragon.  Roger, without even looking up, took off running.  How fast.  Elynsia clicked her tongue from atop her dragon.

“He’s fast to run off…!  Jill, tie him up the next time you see him.  Lutiya, you too!”
“No way I could do that…”

Lutiya, still not used to Elynsia, muttered back.  Jill raised her voice.

“I understand, Elynsia-sama.  As he is becoming a principal of my school, he will need report to the capital at least once for the paperwork.”
“Oh, I see!  Then I leave it to you!”
“…Don’t tell me.  Jill-sensei, did you plan this from the beginning?”

Jill shrugged at Noin’s question.

“Roger-sensei really wants to see his siblings’ faces.  He would’ve disappeared for good already, otherwise.  I’m just giving him the excuse.”
“Turns out Jill-sensei is unexpectedly formidable.  Lutiya, you’d better grow up fast.”
“Shut up.  How’d you even come to that!? —Everyone’s calling, so let’s go.”

With a pout and turn of his face, Lutiya began walking toward some classmates who had secured a spot and some curry.  Noin gave a light bow and followed after Lutiya.  The students of the Gold Dragon Class, the Purple Dragon Class, and the Blue Dragon Class, who had all mixed together, made room for the two.  They must had found something very amusing, for their laughter didn’t stop.

I’m going to make a good school.  The new perspective she discovered at that thought made her blink.  To build a good country.  Maybe that feeling lies at the end of this path.  I wonder if his Majesty feels the same.”

If so, then maybe right now, I’m closer to seeing the same view as Hades.  Not by being lifted up, but by standing beside him.

“Jill.”
“Uwa, Your Majesty!  You’ve come back?”
“Is my coming back bad?  I remembered, I… came to see you in your teacher form.”

To the surprised Jill, Hades continued with a sulky expression.

“I want to properly see the things that you’re seeing too.”

It was the same as her own wish.  Overcome with emotion, Jill shouted out.

“Your Majesty, I love you!”
“Ca-Can you stop saying things like out of nowhere already!?”

Hades, beet red, backed away, but Jill wouldn’t let him escape.  She leapt at him, laughing.  Then, in order to introduce her beloved husband to her students, she took his hand and started walking.
