Don’t Dote on Me! ~10 Days of an Onomatopoeic Noble Lady Translation

32.2: The Circumstance of the Yellow-Green Yandere

—Therefore, it didn’t matter if the person I served wasn’t Prince Redmond himself.

Even if I were to be made to serve his brother, Prince Grimwald, if that was where I belong, it didn’t really matter. Although, I did recall Prince Redmond saying, ‘It’s just right, now you can re-experience youth.” I wasn’t sure what he meant by that… But serving Prince Grimwald was a bit more complicated. After all, he was in the middle of puberty. As a result, he went a bit overboard with his first love and caused some trouble to other people. However, it wasn’t that big of a deal. Especially when compared to me, someone who ran away from home and basically became a delinquent.

If Lumiere became his sister-in-law, all the better. Although, for some reason, she started the whole ‘Kyururun’ thing. Maybe it was a phase. Well, it didn’t matter.

—Or so I thought.

Lady Lamneria’s butler stood proudly on the cafeteria table and yelled.

“C’mon, Ragri, what’s with the bitter face? Are you thirsty? Well then, someone please fetch him a drink. Let’s see if you can down it in one go. One, two—”

In response to the bizarre clamoring, I reluctantly drank the beer mug handed to me by the young lady. It was the fifth round. If I didn’t drink it, he’d just become noisier.

What was more, I had to say, “Thank you for the drink!” after each round only to receive another mug. What kind of punishment is this? Anyway, they were glasses of watered down ice tea, so it wasn’t a real problem.

Many young ladies and gentlemen were drinking from each other’s glasses of diluted ice tea and engaging in a relaxing conversation.

What’s the fun in this?

…As expected, my stomach hurt after the fifth mug.

“I want a mirror ball!” As Silver made a fuss, I retreated to the corner of the room so as to not be seen by him. There, I saw a young lady with a shocked gaze and an unnecessarily upright posture. She was my master—Lumiere Von Lamneria.

We hadn’t checked if we could use the cafeteria. Nevertheless, it was after school. So why were there still about fifty students in this place? Among them, there was also the ringleader who tried to disparage Lady Lamneria. She seemed to be fawning over Silver. No, not just her, but also the other ladies…

As I sat beside her, I asked.

“…Is this allowed?”

Considering wasn’t just not overlooking this, but also not reprimanding the culprit, my question had other implication. When I asked in astonishment, Lady Lamneria softly averted her gaze.

“If I don’t overlook this, I’ll be troubled…”

“Are you depressed?”

“Rather than depressed, should I say that I’m in a dilemma?”

“If it’s necessary, I shall contact His Highness Redmond—”

“—No, please don’t, I’m his master.”

“Well, at least it looks like it’ll end peacefully?”

As we were discussing it, Ms. Irene came to us through the crowd. She offered the fruit platter she was holding to Lady Lamneria, but Silver rebuked her.

“Should you be saying that!?”

“What!? I didn’t do anything wrong today!”

“You did! Pay for Milady’s ruined textbook!”

“You need to let it go!”

After pushing the fruit platter to Lady Lamneria, she rushed to the kitchen.

“Hey, hey, uncle chef, would you like me to pour you a drink?”

She was just holding a bottle of juice. Despite the shady atmosphere, the drink itself still adhered to school regulations. Although, the same couldn’t be said about her subtle movements.

“I just want to thank you for the delicious lunch. This is the only way I can think of to express my gratitude. Hey, won’t you let me?”

All the chefs reluctantly held out their glasses. “If the lady of the Yattermen family says so…” Although they appeared to be reluctantly bowing down to a superior, they didn’t seem all that displeased…

“Today, everyone’s being treated Lady Lumiere! Let’s enjoy this!”

“Thank you very much!”

When everyone thanked her, she helplessly waved her hand.

She gave the impression that she didn’t know what was going on.

“—Haha.”

Involuntarily, I found myself laughing.
