The 800-Year-Old Villainess Translation ZCompleted Translations

Possessed by a wicked woman from 800 years ago, this me who is absolutely at the bottom of the barrel, will in one year start anew with perfect and happy life!

Oppressed by my family and bullied at school, under the hand of my own elder sister, I, Cecily, was finally pushed down the stairs by my sister’s friends.

No more… I want to die like this…

Just as I was having such thoughts, I heard the voice of a certain woman.

And then, Spring arrived.

That day, I was pushed down the stairs.  A large number of handouts scattered everywhere.  Delivering them was my elder sister’s task, but she had forced them onto me like everything else…

Yesterday, I was just about to sit down, but my chair was pulled away from me.  The day before that, thumbtacks had been stuck underneath both sides of a table I had been asked to carry.  Ahahah… everything hurts.

When I was at home, I was constantly mistreated by my parents and my elder twin sister.  I thought something might change once I entered this noble academy with its dormitory life… but nothing changed at all over these past two years.  I was used as others pleased, I was always in pain, and I was left starving.  This life will end with this year.  Once I return home… I don’t even want to think about it.

My hair is like soot, messy, unkempt, and dry, while my arms and legs are as thin as twigs.  I was born with only scraps of magic power.  So the young ladies call me, “the Withered Grass Lady,” the absolute lowest of the low.  That’s who I am, Cecily Travasta.

I’m tired.  I don’t need to get up anymore.  I just want to die.

“Please, just let me die—”
That was what I thought as I was closing my eyes, as I was resting my back against the cold landing of the school.

“In that case, won’t you entrust that body to me?”

A woman spoke.  Her voice was a bit arrogant, yet dignified.

“I promise to return your body to you in one year from now, along with the best possible circumstances you could have.  I suppose a wonderful lover and friends are essential?  Naturally, I suppose a kind family and abundant wealth might also be necessary?

What in the world is this person talking about?
Everything she just said, I don’t have a single one of them—

“Like I said, by the end of this year I will have created them all for you.  I’ll get to enjoy the academy life of my dreams while you can get a full year of rest and restart your life from a perfect position.  How about it?  Personally, I think it’s quite a good deal.”

Whether this is the truth or a lie, or if this is an angel or a demon, I don’t care.  Anything, anyone…  I was just happy to have someone speak to a person like me.

“Re-really…?”
“Of course!  Now then, you just take your time and rest.  As for me… I should start by paying a visit to those who did you this favor, wouldn’t you agree?”

Then— I, Cecily, rose to my feet, completely free from my own consciousness.  I found myself— Cecily— looking down upon myself.  Watching from this viewpoint was like that of a god.

Ara, so you are the ones who pushed me down?”

To be honest, it was eerie.  A ragged girl, one truly like withered grass itself, was climbing the stairs with a suggestive smile on her face.  That smile was directed toward the two girls standing at the top of the stairs, my elder sister’s followers.  They, together with my sister, thought for some reason that it was perfectly fine to treat me as their plaything.

Cecily approached those girls while smiling, with movements that could even be called graceful.  Her steps were firm and steady.  Don’t her legs hurt from having just fallen down the stairs?

That must be it… those girls are also terrified.

“Wh-what!?  Aren’t you the one who freely ran into us!?”

A flailing hand struck Cecily and the force of it once more had her tumble down the stairs.  Right… as a ghost-like being I won’t feel any pain, but… Cecily must be hurting pretty bad now.

Despite that— Cecily stood up once again.

Fufuu, it hurts!  This hurts so— much!”
The voice she shouted out with sounded completely delighted.

Perhaps it was because she had hurt herself, but this time she climbed the stairs with her neck twisted to the side the entire time— walking sideways, she continued to smile.

…I thought it was a bit funny at first, but it’s scary.  Even if that wasn’t me, it’d still be terrifying.  The students watching were all frightened too.

Even my elder sister’s tagalongs, the very ones who had pushed me down the stairs, screamed out, “Kyaaa!”  With that sound unbecoming of young ladies, they fled.  Cecily maintained her graceful smile even as she watched their backs as they ran away.

Ara, the girls of this era are quite spineless, aren’t they?”

That was when I suddenly realized something.

Come to think of it, who the heck is this person?
