Translation Your Majesty, the Voice of Your Heart is Leaking!

53. The Homes of Aristocrats and One’s Parents are Challenging (5)

“When I first met him, I was nervous. However, he wasn’t as scary as I heard…”

Certainly, Gaizel was much calmer than other children of the same age. Still, while he was poor at expressing himself, it was said that he could properly understand what people said. He also showed a glimpse of his emotions from time to time.

However, Gaizel showed no attachment to anything.

He shook his head when asked what he wanted, and he showed no interest in anything she had to offer. Sarah said that it was as if Gaizel had cut off all connection to the world.

“I felt like he’d disappear someday… until I heard about you.”

The girl he met in Lacie. She seemed to be a member of a royal family. Regardless, Glen sighed when he heard of the situation, as the kingdom was far away. Reuniting Gaizel with that girl might be difficult.

It was only when he heard rumors and information about Tistye that Gaizel’s eyes shone. Eventually, he named that girl after a myth. He referred to her as the ‘Spring Goddess.’

“To be able to meet you today, I’m really happy.”

“The same goes for me, thank you…”

About how Gaizel lived when he was a child, Tistye only knew a little.

Gaizel didn’t seem to like talking much about that. It also didn’t seem like he’d tell her.

Tistye just imagined that he had lived a difficult life, judging from what she could piece together at the time.

But, looking at Gaizel that day, Tistye realized that instead of being rocky, Gaizel’s relationship with the duke family was a warm one.

“I quickly realized that His Majesty is important to the two of you. After all, you look like real parents with their child…”

“Fufu, indeed. I think we also have to change.”

“I think it’s okay for you to treat him the way you are, now. Thank you very much for protecting His Majesty.”

Tistye thanked Sarah yet again. As she slowly lifted her face, she saw Sarah weeping her eyes. Sarah then bashfully stood up from the couch.

“I’m sorry for my short parting words. That’s right, I’m looking forward to your wedding.”

“Y, yes! Thank you!”

Eventually, Sarah left the drawing room with a happy smile. As her servants followed, Elena appeared in an awkward manner in a change clothes. Tistye rushed towards her.

“How are you feeling, Elena?”

“I’m alright…”

Elena had probably calmed down a little. She didn’t seem to be as agitated as before. For the time being, Tistye felt relieved. Elena clutched her soiled dress. Looking at it, Tistye felt discouraged.

“…What happened to your dress, is unfortunate…”

“It’s nothing, really.”

Elena spoke such words as she tried to escape from Tistye’s gaze.

However, at that moment, the voice of Elena’s heart was heard by Tistye.

[“The dress I made… is worthless…”]

The dress… she made?

“…”

Elena pursed her lips and said nothing more. Looking at Elena, whom had a pained expression, Tistye didn’t know what to say.

Then, a violent knocking echoed within the quiet reception room. The door slammed open before Tistye could reply.

“Elena!”

 A young man appeared.

He had brown hair with matching eyes. He wore a typical formal outfit. The terribly frustrated young man rushed towards Elena the moment he spotted her.

“I was worried! You had vanished from the venue before I noticed it…”

“I’m sorry, something happened…”

“Are you okay?”

When the young man confirmed Elena’s safety in a hurry, he finally turned towards Tistye.

Towards Tistye, whom was surprised, the young man bowed deeply to the point his forehead could probably touch his knees.

“Thank you for helping Elena!”

“N, no, I didn’t do anything…”

“Thank you very much! Elena, I’ll send you home. Therefore, let us return.”

As soon as the young man took Elena’s hand, he pulled her away. In the blink of an eye, the two had disappeared from before Tistye.

Who was that…

While Tisyte was abruptly taken aback, a rather modest knocking came from the recently closed door.

Tistye was still surprised, but was immediately relieved the moment she saw the person who appeared from behind the door.

“Are you there?”

“Lord Gaizel…”

Gaizel, whom was down to his shirt due to having removed his jacket, expressionlessly entered the drawing room.

At first, Tistye was relieved. However, she soon realized it—and panicked.

I, I borrowed his jacket, and not only that, left him…

Desperate to help Elena, she had completely forgotten to accompany Gaizel. As he passed Tistye, who had sweat on her forehead, Gaizel sat down on the couch.

“Y, Your Majesty, I’m sorry…”

“For what?”

“Th, the greetings, I missed them…”
